Project Inspirations
As someone who moves between academic and religious spaces, I was fascinated by the differences between them.
Are there questions or claims that are theological and not academic? Knowing that most of our students are familiar with discussing religion in a religious community, what kinds of changes are we asking them to make when we come into the classroom? What does it mean to enter a religious space as an academic?
I hoped to provoke discussions on the many ways that belief statements show up in the classroom and the possibilities for instructor response in those moments.
